Dear Prime member ...We are writing to you today about

Yea there are always options when it comes to Amazon.Still to my family the ease of shopping online, the speedy ship time for most products, and ease of returns makes it worth the cost.Amazon has a hub in Charlotte, and I pass those big Amazon trucks on a weekly basis. And to say we are rural would be an understatement.Oh and they also ship on Sundays lol.

Shipping is the key for me.

I ordered something online outside the realm of amazon.

It was ordered on the 28th. Being ā€œshippedā€ by Fedex the 29th . It stayed in NJ for 5 days then to Ca 2 days ago then arriving in AZ 2 hours ago. Not sure when it will make it to me.

Oh i live in NY btw

The Mets jersey was a hint  …my condolences
Amazon is a love/hate relationship. I dont need prime video, can they please deduct that from the charges and I would be good to go. Walmart is currently beefing up their sources to better compete…many years too late but juuuuuust maybe. :eyes:

Ha very funny TXRon… No respect I tell ya!

Amazon did master the art of quick delivery.

Fedex not so much…package is now in NM. My complaint # is as useful as a losing lottery ticket. Lol

I get it. But there are so many apps–best KODI add-ons (look at Troy’s list). I am getting all Reachers for free the day after–no commercials at all.

The best way to get value for the Prime rip-off is to start ordering foods as well as household goodies from Amazon–then shipped to your house for free. You can actually save some gas by eliminating some extra market trips.

another thing about amazon,if they don’t have it you don’t need it lol.many times the shops in town or local wally world don’t have some items my family are shopping for in stock.

There are really no benefits to the shipping on most, since all their items are marked up enough to cover shipping lol

Yes price checking is important but they are not overpriced on everything.

Looking for Bluetooth speakers and they were way over priced compared to ebay. Same model multiple sellers.

Compared price from something my wife bought at a pharmacy and it was 1/3 of the price.

I’ve just buy everything I own from Amazon Prime has a Member… It’s very addictive LoL… I hardly use Amazon Prime Video so If I have to use it, I can live with it

I agree wholeheartedly. Ya have to price check before committing. As an example, I wanted a certain item that I normally get from the grocery store. On Amazon it was double what I pay. I reviewed the product mentioning the ridiculous price and the review was rejected because I showed prices, but the very next day the price on Amazon now was $2 less than the grocery store, so I bought 3.:innocent::joy:

Just wondering if anyone has watched anything on Prime with the commercials.

I read an article that mention the writers and actors arent happy either. The Prime shows were written without the ā€œdramatic pause/cut sceneā€ to go to commercials. So the ads are coming at unintended times.

Obviously the movies were never intended this way.

Wondering if its like Youtube where out of nowhere an ad shows up mid sentence.

Tbh, I don’t think I have used Prime in about a year. I probably should just get rid of the membership.

The only reason I hesitate is for wanting the 1–2-day shipping. However, I think that shipping perk is really not all that and a bag of chips.

Same here with watching but between my wife and I we abuse the delivery perk.

Amazon is also making changes to the return policy WTF that means

Not just return. Now even items over $35 are not free delivery. On a Dyson air hepa filter unit for $699.99 it was $75 delivery and no option for free. Then while waiting to get an answer why, I left the item in my cart and it went from $699.99 to $899.99 overnight. Needless to say CANCELLED CANCELLED CANCELLED. My cart is now empty.

Hey Miki, does the air stink that bad in Canada?

Oh heck ya. The smoke from wildfires last fall was bad.

That’s right, I forgot about that, Canada had some real bad fires last summer.

We sure did. Even indoors you could smell the smoke.

I swam in all that Canadian smoke when it came across the great lakes - I felt bad for the folks up north. It sucked bad.
