I LOVE pancakes. Thick, TONS OF BUTTER AND SYRUP. Saturate pancakes, a short
stack of 3, with butter on top and in between each layer. Drown the top with pure (warm) maple syrup until the the consistency is “spongy” with butter and syrup. Dig in slowly and enjoy the texture of warm, soft, mushy cakey goodness oozing with butter and sugary syrup. Yum.
Thank you for your USFS career. Seriously though, when I open a bag of French roast, essense of forest fire fills my senses. Costco has that gigantic bag of French roast on sale a lot and I just can’t buy it anymore. I will say that it works well for “blending” in a darker taste to a lighter blend if you get bored with the same old, same old. Maybe I’ll try it again next time I see it on sale.
Death Wish Coffee is solid @GraceWilson! My go to lately has been Trader Joe’s Medium Roast
Thank you. It’ll break up my routine a bit and I can always ship the remainder to @Reece if I don’t like it.
Maybe i’ll get some Death Wish to go with my Pancakes, ya just never know, i mite wanna do the Zombie Dance with y’all at least once before my eyes go crossed and blood trickles outta my ears….Oh wait, that was @Reece’s “Pistol-Whip” Blend ….never mind, but lets dance

@GraceWilson You need to step up your game!
I have 4 hopper grinders plus a solo grinder for the ability to brew up anything that I wish too ON DEMAND! I guess this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s limited to only refer to our TV! ![]()
Or you could ship it off to me. ![]()
I’ll test it for “quality” and then re-ship the remainder to @JerryJ …

The uncontrollable leg-twitching is another “feature” of the Pistol-Whip brew. Good for what ails ya…
Hey….
Wait a minute, i want the leg twitch too, sounds like it counts as exercise !!

I could dole it up in equal measure to everyone interested and send PRIORITY OVERNIGHT to make sure it was received in a timely manner.
Nirvana is achieved when drinking Death Wish while watching Death Wish. Pistol Whip is a great name for a coffee and I searched to see if anyone sells a brand named Pistol Whip and found nothing but what’s pasted below:
“Pistol Whip” is a specific coffee roast or product from a company often referred to as “Ruthless” or similar specialty coffee brands, characterized by a smooth, air-roasted finish. It is not to be confused with the viral “whipped coffee” trend known as Dalgona, which became popular on social media in 2020.
But I am certain that you will like it. And we will look forward to your review.
I may break convention when my hopper is “empty” and open the Death Wish to try it. I don’t like to have 2 different coffee bags open at the same time. Why? Who knows. Freshness phobia probably. Something weird probably happened to me as a kid and and I have a deep seated psychosis. Bean hopper is down to half so it’s progress.
Wild! I had no idea on earth it was a real coffee name. I thought I just made it up to be funny. goes to show what I know except all the good names are already taken. I should have googled it first. Dang…late to the party again. Story off my life…a dollar short and a bean late I spoze!
@Reece, I found this so you still got time to trademark it if you hurry

There is no known coffee beverage called “Pistol Whip.” The term “Pistol Whip” appears to be associated with a mug sold on Urban Dictionary Store, which is a product named after the phrase rather than a coffee drink.
While “Pistol Whip” is not a coffee, it is possible the name is being used humorously or as a brand name for coffee-related merchandise, but it is not a recognized coffee recipe or style like Dalgona (whipped) coffee.
thanks bud…good lookin out!
We have an older Nespresso machine and had some pods left. I fired it up as a 2nd cup option and it’s just not even close to good. I put a smidge of milk in it and drink it out of a shot glass. The pods are environmentally unfriendly, expensive, the ground coffee gets stale in the pods and the water does not get close to the required temp for a good pull.
I grind my own coffee and keep a sealer jar full in the fridge freezer. I have reusable pods that get washed out every day. The difference between freshly ground beans and pre ground is amazing. No pod waste. Unground beans kept in a cool Dark place.
