I have 2 Firesticks both 4K. I was unable to download the new Cinema Version. One tells me the file is corrupt the other wants to delete the version already installed. But given that the one says it corrupt I am hesitant to delete the app on the 2nd one. Anyone else have this happen? I used downloader on both sticks.
hi it wont download until old version is deleted they conflict each other

I tried it on my FS the first time it did not install, i backed out and went back in to downloader and it installed with no issue. I went to my dad house to update his and had no issue with update, i never un-installed the app at all on either FS.

Cinema 2.5 kept freezing up. By freezing up, I mean GREY SCREEN. 2.7 I think I had issues with. I deleted CINEMA, and this time I selected 2.4 version.
It’s a little annoying (2.4 version) because after you’ve selected a link … it’s good…for that ONE. Then a pop up comes up which is stuck. You have to restart the app.
To help, I deleted Cinema & reloaded the 2.4 version. 2.7 —I think is not working seamlessly for everyone. 2.5 has grey screens which cannot clear. 2.4 has grey screens but they do clear after exiting the app; entering the app, press back button twice on the Firestick remote.
Per a suggestion yesterday, I downloaded onstream. Do you have a loyalist to Cinema? Why not try onstream…or another?

Frankly when Troypoint forced to delete the easy downloads I did have limited success with unlinked and the other one but now they don’t seem to be working. I can’t seem to figure out other ways to download.

Mines says file might be courpt as will when I’m trying to do it on my firestick

That is a generic message. You can run the apk through Virius Total to check and see.

I had same issue with my old android 6.0
so I uninstalled old version and the new one installed EZ…PZ
Unfortunately the latest version of Cinemahd is not good, plagued with issues. You can no longer do a backup or restore, Try it. You’ll see. It brings up a Google O/S type of screen that cannot be manipulated. Stick with 2.4.0. That is at least stable. Nice to know that developers are back but they seem a bit disconcerted in their approach
Where did you get 2.7? I don’t see that on the website to download.

I’ve downloaded it to my new TV running Google TV and it’s been unusable. As soon as I pick a feed it starts to load, freezes, and then goes back to the previous screen. This was true with 2.4 as well as 2.5. I have a prior version on my Firestick which I will NOT be updating - it still works well, although I have noticed ads that weren’t there before. I hope they work it out - I liked (or at least was used to) that platform.

I downloaded 2.5.2 and it seems to have cured the problems with the older versions not getting the correct streams for a given title. Unfortunately, it now has the dreaded “Hotels.com” ad at the end of every stream, requiring you to restart the app to get it to continue. UGH!!!

Yes, Cleanweb works but why bother… just another ad-riddled apk.
Cinema according to troypoint on the outs…thus all of us will eventually lose it
Fine with me. Cinema didn’t come back as good as it once was. There are much better options out there.

Agreed - Cinema certainly had it’s time in the sun, for quite some time - it got a really good tan!
Now, it’s like a pro basketball star, into the twilight of his prime only serves well as a bench veteran…only asked to suit up when all of the current starters go down.
Nonetheless, you have to be impressed that it’s still has its wheels and, for now, still plays in the league.
