i always like to try new or updated versions of Troypoints videos. it seems to work well with RD, otherwise not worth installing. I did have an audio issue using MX player, so rest to a different one and worked fine. Only used once so far tho

I downloaded the modded version as well. It just popped up the same splash screen and froze. I am having other issues with this particular Mecool box. I assume i just got a dud Mecool box. Since no one else is having the issue. The Cinema version I uninstalled at least worked. Does anyone know how to get and older version? I assume unlinked and others are still not working at least i canât get anything from the stores.
I will also say this is really a great site for information. So for everyone has been extremely helpful and friendly and I really appreciate the kindest from everyone.

Very funny⌠Powerfader, is that how you fix a Mecool box thats broke. 
I did find version 2.4.0 of Cinema it installed and works as well as Cinema works without any help from RD or other sources.
On another note does anybody know how to get onstream to show more thumbnails than Latest, Trending and Popular. I have a problem with registering for and account with any email address.

Yeah, I did read that. Unfortunately, I think I am dumping Surfshark in favor of express.
I tried downloading it yesterday and ran into all sorts of issues because of SS (I believe). So, I uninstalled it and waited until just now to try again. I just now re-downloaded and installed the Cinema apk again, so I will take another look.
The ads only pop up when the movie is finished and you are try to exit the app or go back to the home screen to select another program. I have a kind of work around for that issue. I use a Shield pro so when the movie is done, I just double click my home button and close out the app from recents. Then I can reopen the app and select another program. It only takes about a couple seconds to do this, and it works good enough for me.

I feel the same way, very happy with the Syncler and streamio. Installed Cinema and will keep it as A third backup.

Man get A Google Chromecast and run native Android not A older phone version on A set top TV box. Trust me I have purchased everything they came out with. Itâs not an Nvidia shield or a Google Chromecast youâre just running old osâs that werenât made for your TV.

Power fader or anyone else in this chat, do it if you run A kill switch on your VPN or router does it have that option.
I bought a Nvidia Shield today. Supposedly the Mecool km6 plus is running Android 10 for TV. At least that is what it says. Anyway tried of big brother, Firestick and China products, Mecool. I have a Google chromecast as well. And the new Onn box.

If you are referring to Express VPN. Then, yes, it does have a kill switch, but I donât use them. I have an indicator icon which informs me if my VPN is connected or not. So, I havenât tested this feature as of yet.
Upgraded to 2.5.2. Still have problem after viewing program where it brings up a ticktock add and there is no way to return to the app. Have to force stop app to get it to work again.

There are modded versions with âno adsâ, but I would be hesitant to try one rigt now.
Troypoint has a tutorial on how to eliminate the ads using Surfshark and enabling âClean Webâ and then setting your player in Cinema HD to MX.
My solution is, I just double click my âHomeâ button on my Shield remote to bring up the âRecentsâ page. Then I close the Cimema HD app right there. It only takes me a couple of seconds to close it. Then if I want, I can open it right back up to the Cinema HD Home page. This way I bypass all the ads when existing the app. Itâs not the perfect solution, but it works, and I am leery of installing one of the ad free mods at this time.

Did you try Troyâs CleanWeb/MX trick? Does it work to eliminate the ads? I havenât tried it, but am curious if it makes this 2.5.2 fully ad-free or this is just a bad version of Cinema.

Tried the modded ad-free from apktime and itâs working perfectly with Real-debrid. I might add, on virus total it shows 3 viruses but when checking with Malwarebytes itâs coming up clean.

I wonder if one of those ad eliminator apps would work. I doubt if I am going back to using SS. So, I wonder if I download an ad blocker and use MX if that will work, too?
Btw, MX Pro is no longer my external go-to player. I like VLC much better.

Virustotal is always popping false positives. Probably because itâs not in Google play store. I downloaded same modded version from Kevin Porteous and same 3 flags in Virustotal.
