Considering the service has been rock solid - last time i went down was last April for about 18 hrs.
I stick with them because firstly, i have a great deal for their highest tier internet service till end of December & secondly because they have been very stable & reliable for years!
Iām not sure if itās a Bluetooth remote or not. The soundbar has been giving me issues - cutting in & out, even on my Shield Pro so sometimes i can use it, other times not. And so, as long as the remote controls the TV power on/off & volume, iām happy.
Iāve never used a sound bar before . I did notice on the Roku website that they have sound bars for use with the Roku TV and the sound bar has built in audio stabilization . Now that certainly has gotten my attention . I may end up buying one for the living room .
I have a roku tv, soundbar, subwoofer and satelite speakers. Great sound. It took me a long time to decide and I tried several other systems and after many I went with roku sound knowing with amazon I could send it all backā¦but they are great for what you pay.
If you are just using the TVs sound, i highly suggest buying one - you will love it, even if itās only 2.1 like mine. I paid $70 for a refurbished one about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, it seems to be on itās last legs. The TVs sound, compared to my soundbar, is horrendous!
Yeah Iād buy it just for audio stabilization. Iām not interested in the subwoofer though. Iām not big on surround sound. I had a 5.1 set up 20 years ago and ended up giving it away. It drives you nuts whatching the news or a cooking show and the sound is coming from all over the place
