May have to buy one for my birthday

Be aware that if you live in the US you will be charged Tariff. I just received a bill from ups for $13.22 for us customs duties and brokerage charges.

I recently ordered a BuzzTv G series using the TP discount. Thank you Troy.

BuzzTv said free shipping with orders over $99. Ok thats very good. To my surprise I have received two notifications saying I must pay a $32.98 import fee. They (UPS) requested payment before delivery. I believe if this is really the case and not a scam, it should be stated before purchasing. Am I the only person who has had this happen? I would have never considered buying this product if I was made aware of before buying with my credit.

See the Post right above yours. Yes you have to pay Tariffs

@Howie23 Welcome to trade wars. If you’re ordering from a Chinese firm apparently tariffs don’t have to be paid if the item(s) are warehoused in the US. It does suck that you weren’t informed before ordering.

I also had to pay UPS $13.39 in tariff fees. Fortunately the discount that Troypoint referred to, covered most of that. The performance of the G-Series box makes it worth every cent I paid for it. I’m considering replacing my two MECOOL boxes with the G-Series, but I’ll give it some time to see if the KODI developers find a way to rectify the crash issue with Android 14 on those boxes.

Thing is, That isn’t Buzz and not under their control. More likely it’s UPS and a tariff charge. Again nothing to do with Buzz.

I tried to ship a device to a friend in the USA but it was refused as it’s a Chinese made device and the US, I was told, has blocked the shipping or import of Chinese made electronics from Canada. Even though it is used and a “free” device.

Welcome aboard…

I’m sure you’ll find everything you need right here…

yes I preordered one and it was 13 dollars tariff and then just ordered another one and tariff was 26. But I really like the interface of the AI classic so I hope they last along time. If they keep the tariff on I will start looking for a different box. This tariff will hurt Buzztv sales in my opinion.

But the tariffs are set by government and absolutely nothing to do with Buzz. Believe me, businesses know that this hurts their bottom line but unfortunately can’t do anything to stop this practice.

Tariffs are not told to you when you purchase, because you will cancel the order. I think that is a $hit way to do business, but they want sales.

It is not up to the supplier to mention or to figure out how much Tariffs are or what products are tariffed. Contact your government representative and ask before you purchase. It’s impossible for any business to know exactly as the government changes it’s mind from one day to the next. Not fair to be upset at suppliers.

Wonder if these will hit Amazon in the US ?

They already are. You can order them through amazon.com

I’m in the UK and I would like to get one of these Buzztv G series boxes, on the link Troy submits with the discount it shows as £114.99 so the price is in Sterling as shown, but it seems that the Buzztv is only available in the US and Canada.
Can someone please explain this conundrum, and if there is a way to get it to England.

Go on the Buzz website and send them a email with shipping to the UK

OK bruv done that and bought one…
Good news I got the Troypoint discount so the box only cost £103.50, the bad news is it’s costing me £20.83 shipping so total price £124.33 takes two to three weeks.
Just the hope British HMRC don’t poke their nose’s in like they have before, implementing import tax
