Recently watched Midsommer murders which I enjoyed, but loved Vera. Cant go wrong with Death in Paradise. Also got into Irish shows like Bad sisters.

I am a BIG fan of the mystery series “Shetland”.But it was way too short. Great cast and beautiful dark coastal scenery that really set the mood. I thought that Doug Henshall was stellar as DI Perez. And I always got a chuckle when they said his last name with a Scot accent.
I just did check and Doug Henshall has been in quite a few TV series’s over the years.
Enable subtitles.Some of those Irish ans Scottish accents are unintelligible.

All I watch are British crime shows. I don’t bother at all with American ones. Happy Valley, After The Flood, The Fall, Hope Street and others. Watching DCI Banks now. I have a big list in my to do list

crime series 
I just finished the two season of “Harry Wild” and really liked it. A slightly and beautifully aged Jane Seymour. Based in Dublin so I got to see some great panoramic shots of the city. Her young protege was a great, generational addition to the episodes.
Check out Giri Haji from 2019 set in both London and Tokyo. Awesome series with great cast, poorly promoted at the time.
