And further, I can’t even recreate the channel…somehow, even though I have cleared the cache and rebooted Shield, the search is still for cf.hi-cdn.me which I have deleted. I tried reinstalling that URL but that throws an error and will not install.

I’ve recently begun using Sparkle. Tivimate and Sparkle each have their own strengths and weaknesses. You can get a Sparkle one month sub for a few dollars. Troy posted a video you might want to look at.

i have purchased premium of both for recoding my football and basketball games while i’m away from home..tivimate records better on older android os 11 and below…sparkle records better on android os 11 and above…both are excellent for recording using them for the appropiate android os
just my observation from testing them on my diff boxes

I would suggest deleting the Strong playlist - reinstall with your same Username and Password. Use the URL that MikeN posted. I found that this resets the link for the epg source in the playlist tied to the new URL you put in. EPG works better.

What VPN location works best? I have Strong & Dream. Using Nvidia shields, Onn plus and Firesticks with Surfshark. Is it just trial & error? Thank you.

@smitty64 ….yeah, it can be, what works for a while may one day just be horrible, so it’s good to have a few cities or even countries saved as faves to jump to….for a while with Lemo ( i am in eastern US), Asia worked great for me, Belgium also, Las Vegas….so….there’s my thoughts….

And if you are using SurfShark don’t forget to try the “Static IP” locations. I found that fixed some things with my first “provider” service. Strong just seems to work on the closest server.
As an aside, I was kind of tired of skating on Troy’s dime and finally became a Patron on his Black Friday sale. I have to admit that one big reason was my curiosity about a $2/month iptv service (Amber) for Patrons only. But do the math, with this information I am able to pay for being a life-time Patron (I think Troy will outlive me lol) with a year or so of Amber and her great prices and good service. I highly recommend becoming a Patron to casual perusers of this site.
