BeeTV Clone/Fork

If it looks like BeeTV, and walks like BeeTV, and quacks like BeeTv then it has to be CinePlus !

CinePlus appears to be an exact Clone of BeeTv. If you liked and now miss BeeTv you might like CinePlus. It looks, works and feels the same. CinePlus downloads available thru Unlinked app stores EMDYOUTUBE or FIRESTICK, both stores have it.

If you’re not sure how to do that, do a YouTube search for Electrical MD and follow along the video.

Does this app have advantages over Stremio or Nuvio? I’m locked in with those 2 + KODI.

Hi @BigDave

My version 4.7.3 is still streaming. I download from Kevin Porteus Linktr.ee site. But, its now showing version 4.7.4 (14 Jun 26 update). Probably not going to update mine. Lol, Its a backup to a backup.

Update; Went to download from site. Got below error message.

@GraceWilson I believe this falls into the “Crap Apps” category

Stremio, Nuvio and Kodi … ya got it all

CinePlus has lots of non debrid links that work and you’re up and running in 3 minutes plus has debrid capability if ya have it. It’s a starter app that works. Also a good app to keep my stuff separate from our stuff.

I see the term “Crap App” often used. Being old and simple minded, could you give me definition of what exactly is a “Crap App”? If I have an app that’s working with video in High Quality with little to no buffering, what makes that … Crap? Thanks in advance for explanation.

I was able to download 4.7.4 from Sean’s Linktr.ee site.

@SoloWarrior I believe it is too but I was trying to be gentle and ask a stimulating question vs. giving him a wedgie and saying something that might incite unrest.

I love stimulating questions, please ask one. BeeTV developer stopped supporting the app and it’s now replaced with CinePlus, both Crap Apps? It happens, devs come and go with these apps, whereas Kodi doesn’t suffer this fate.

With your extensive knowledge of Kodi, I loved Kodi with the Exodus build but that quit working? How do I get this Kodi Crap App working again? These Crap Apps sure do take a lot of work?

As far as giving me a wedgie, some advice … Bring A Friend

@BigDave I was JOKING about the wedgie. I can barely get my own under pants on and would never attempt to adjust anyone else’s.

I use Red Light, POV, Gears and Umbrella. Troy has install videos on all of them.

I’ve had Stremio about a year and a half and Miki got me hooked on Nuvio which I use most of the
time. Then I added Debridio to both.

I’m not 100% certain where the term “crap apps” came from but I think there was a reference to it from someone vastly more knowledgeable than me here on this board and it stuck.

Thank you for your kinder comments. Let me come at this differently.

Many chord cutters, especially newer ones and just the curious, like experimenting and trying new stuff. I use Stremio and Weyd. TorBox and Debridio are also in my arsenal.

To make newer or casual user feel incompetent when using an easy APK to download and operate is less than constructive. ALL these apps require some maintenance and updating. Yes, I don’t like the term “Crap App”. Saying so makes users of those apps feel like Crap! I started my journey in Streaming with Terrarium (now defunct with many clones) and really liked it. Then moved on to Cinema and others. Learning and expanding as I went.

What am I trying to accomplish, My End Goal? Encouragement and acceptance! OK newbie, start with an apk like CinePlus because you’re gonna find a whole new world. Putting down the efforts of others is not instructive. It’s a little bit like bullying.

I’m glad I started with an easy to use app (crap app) Terrarium. I expanded from there with confidence as I could see what the End Goal was. I haven’t gotten there, much to still learn but it’s fun. The Kodi/Stremio debate will continue but the result is that we all see a lot of video on the cheap!

So be niece, be supportive, be instructive and most of all be open to others and operations that are not the same as yours or even not as efficient as yours. Share, we’re all learning. Patience is a virtue.

“Crap Apps” is a pejorative term coined by who knows? It applies to most of the apks that followed on from early Kodi (eg Terrarium) and predated Stremio, etc. I personally see no difference between the crap apps and most Kodi add-ons as both come and go with monotonous regularity. I suspect Stremio will go this way in time, too. Then it will become a “crap App”!

I also hate the term “newb, or newbie” as it implies not only lack of knowledge but that the person replying or labelling a person with the disgusting term, is superior in knowledge.

Happy Sunday everyone.

To answer your question The Term “Crap Apps” comes from nonother than Troypoint himself. He has used the term in several posts on the site to distinguish the long term apps like KODI and Stremio from the APK’s like Cinema, Bee TV, Flix and the other “Crap Apps” that usually don’t last long

@SoloWarrior @Miki Thanks guys, great thoughts. “Newbie” is an actual word you can Google meaning newcomer, rookie, beginner, etc. which one could extrapolate as lacking knowledge, although that isn’t included in definitions I found. I agree with Miki in that newcomer or rookie does sound more appropriate.

“Crap App” is an actual application showing the best places to go to the bathroom while traveling, according to Google.

At the risk of committing blasphemy on this Sunday morning regarding none other (or nonother) than Troy, I respectfully disagree. It’s true that the often posted “How to download Crap App” do carry a higher risk of malware, trackers and buffering, these apps are good for beginners or rookies to use and become motivated to learn about better apps such as Kodi or Stremio (and others). More appropriately termed “Basic Apps” or "Easy but Riskier Apps. " SportsStream for example opens the door to watching your favorite team but buffers frequently, leading to a search for a paid IPTV.

Thank you @BigDave . I know the word exists and has a definition, but just disagree with it’s use. Just because a demeaning word or phrase exists doesn’t mean we should lower our selves to the level it implies and to using it to define another. I do hope we’re more evolved than that but seriously doubt it. I do prefer using the term beginner, but who am I to say. When I had my torrent site anyone labelling a member as a Noob was warned and if did it again, banned. Ok off to Wimbledon and the Calgary Stampede not to mention MotoGP, oh and can’t forget superbike. Way to much to watch today, thank god for multi screen. Be well, all you experienced and beginner insiders. Laugh, love and damn it, BE HAPPY.
