Has anyone tried the new Skystream Max ?
I used to buy their preloaded boxes years ago. They stopped preloading boxes and they are now building Google certified boxes now.

Cant find the specs on the box…do you see it? is this amlogic, rockchip, allwinner??? no idea. Storage? Ram?

haha, had to drop some script blockers to see it. Not bad for the price/specs.
It’s hard to figure out which model your looking at…will have to peek around the web for some more info & prices…
its an s905x3 so a little old, android 9 which I like, no av1…basically a decent box yesterday but better out there, I would imagine it would be a good streamer just a little dated.
I think there are models with more umph than that one…saw octa-core & 8K mentioned whilst bouncing around the web but nothing solid to look at.

in comparison the mecool km6 is newer with the s905x4 on board
Yep…looks like this box has been around for a while…but I can’t find anything to really look at. Might shoot them an email & see if they have their current product line somewhere

This one seems more similar to the other Mecools than the KM6…e-port…ram…storage are all a bit smaller.
Yes it looks like a good box. Don’t like the price for 2 gb ram should be 4. But a decent option for sure.
