I use The Oath and it’s working as of today. Really appreciate Troy point info and tips for us cord cutters.
A Kodi update, say when you install 19.5 over 19.4 when it happens won’t do a thing.
Disabling the repo and turning off auto-updates just gives you ‘protection’ if those repos are hijacked before they cease to function on their own completely anyway, which will happen at some point.
@MikeFL . Forgive the fairly newbie question. Surely turning off the add on or disabling the repo would cause the current working add on to stop working.
Please advise.
Turn off auto-updates on the add-on.
Disabling the repo won’t affect the performance of the add-on.
@MikeFL . Many thanks for that.
Just a couple of things:
I know where the auto update for the add on can be found. So, thats ok.
But, do i turn off/ disable the repo by long click on the add on within add ons, and disable from the drop down menu?
You might find the easiest way to get there is to go to Add-ons / My add-ons / Add-on repository. Scroll to the respective repository, long click, Disable.
@MikeFL …Excellent! Thank you. Very much appreciated.
