It’s basically the same thing . Smart YouTube next is modified to work on Android tv and vanced is basically the phone version .

The app remained on our phones but it wasn’t filtering out the ads anymore

It works on my S7 TAB though.

I installed it on my 22 ultra yesterday and it works. Did you make sure to install the Micro G APK? It won’t work I less you have both installed. Good luck.

I have it from the last Vanced which worked on the S7 but may have to do Micro G again on the phone.

I have installed Revanced and it seems to be working. However, there is no cast option that I can see. I don’t remember if the original YouTube app provided casting or not. I planned to use the phone with the modified YouTube app and cast it to the TV so that I did not have to watch all the commercials. Any ideas?

If you want to watch on your TV just install Smart YouTube Next on your TV box. No need to cast.
