When trying to download the xfinity streaming app onto my on box, google app store says it is not available on my tv. I downloaded the downloader app but cant seem to get the app there either. Does anyone have a downloader code or website that can get me xfinity streaming on my onn box?

Thank you for your response. The app downloaded but when I try to sign in, I get the message “you don’t have an app that can do this”. I only get this problem on an onn device. All of my firesticks don’t have this problem. Suggestions?
I think that is an error that has become fairly prevelant with Android 12, which is what the new Onn boxes have. In other apps I’ve seen that same error happening because you can’t access the data folder that you need to access for completion of the task. But you could in earlier versions of Android because those folders weren’t restricted, or secured as they call it. I don’t know the answer. Perhaps a different version of Xfinity or using a device with a different version of Android.
Agree, google is the problem and “scoped storage”. Not to mention xfinity is always slow to update the stream app. You could contact xfinity(good luck)… Thats why I now prefer stock android.

I have researched old threads and the internet as well on downloading xfinity streaming app to onn streaming devices. The only downloader code I could find (653690) will download an app but will not let you sign in. Has anyone found a way recently to download the xfinity app that works?
