Did the xenon build and then got a trakt account. I can see the titles of videos I would like to watch but when I click them, I go back to the start page for my mecool. What step did I miss?

Sorry don’t know anything about that Build but if I’m understanding what you are saying is that when you click on a show/movie it takes you out of KODI to the start page on your box? What Addon are you using? could be a problem with the Build.
If I long hold the select button I get a choice of default players.
First is a clear default player listed as the movie.helper. I have not clicked on that.
I have clicked - at various times - elementum free and scrubs v2 free.
When I fired up the machine this time to get the wording of my choices, I got an error message that mentioned moviedb. Maybe I should clear that first?
Thanks to all. It appears that my problem is with tackt. If I just pick a show from the TV show area, it plays fine. But loading in my tackt wish list generates misery. So I will continue my education in that area.
BTW is there any guide for xenon? There are other things that I would like to learn.
I don’t know anything about Xenon but I have been using Trakt for years. I don’t use wish Lists. I add shows and Movies to My collection. Then when I go into KODI I only need to go to My TV Shows or My Movies then into Collection. And everything will be there
