Best practice is to use Xtream Codes API - you enter URL, username and password. EPG should be loaded automatically.
Try changing update settings - Inside XCIPTV, navigate to Settings > EPG. You’ll see an option to set an EPG refresh interval. Set this to every 12 hours, not the default 24. For services serving multiple time zones, you also need to set the EPG time shift. If your in the UK and seeing programme times that are two hours ahead, the panel’s EPG source is likely pegged to CET. Apply a –1 or –2 hour shift inside XCIPTV to correct it.
If that fails - You can setting up with m3u url playlist / epg url - ask your provider for this

Thank you for your reply…but I’m stuck. The XCIPTV Player is stuck in a continuous loop of updating. I’m running this through an ONN Plus and I’ve restarted it…no luck. I’ve unplugged it from the wall…nothing but the continuing update.
The only good part I’m doing this with an extra IPTV service I never use and the Player was installed just for this purpose…tinkering.
I’ve bookmarked your reply and and soon as the Player allows me I’ll work on it. Again…thanks.
I downloaded and installed the TiviGlass Player. Stayed with the free version. It’s a very very nice Player. It has it’s own EPG, which is nice. I happened to have another one or two EPGs I’d like to install but I’m either overlooking how-to or it isn’t allowed.
If anyone here is the go-to pro on TiviGlass and can let me know anything with adding an EPG that would be great.
