Hi Guys
I have two x88pro 20 android 11 boxes which I downloaded onstream from downloader to but neither of the boxes will open the app .I have enabled unknown sources on the settings but no dice. Any other suggestions please. I also successfully put the app on KM2 Plus which also uses android 11. Both boxes are running the latest firmware also.
The app works on km2 but not on x88…correct?
Yes TXRon that is correct I will try to remove updates on play store and try again later.
Only real difference I see is the km2 is a certified android-tv box and the x88 is stock android. There are many apps that only work with one or the other and its possible this is the case here. I would suggest finding another app similar and trying it as a replacement. I cant help much with the onstream app as ive never used it.
Hi Ron
Thank you for your reply you may be correct I can load Cinema and film+ without any issues so I may have to accept it at that. I did uninstall updates in Play store to no avail also.
Hi Ron
Update I successfully downloaded onstream on an older T95 Q box so it looks like stock android 11 is the problem.
I purchased the new T95z plus android box and installed Onstream. It doesnt show up on main screen for installed apps but if I go to settings then installed apps it is showing there. I select open and onstream runs perfectly. I wanted to add to my favourites but cannot. It would be a pain to run it from the settings menu app listing. Can anyone else that has this box verify you have the same issue. Box has Android 12.
Also just for info out there the unit I purchased from Temu does not have the root on/off switch in settings and does not contain any of the data/ core/java files. Both good news. Also ran malware scans and ran total virus to scan files. Shows clean. So hopefully have a clean box.
Regards
Wolf Launcher works well on these boxes…will show all installed apps even tho it hasn’t been updated in awhile
works great on these generic boxes and will show all installed apps
