Which VPN Location Works Best for Strong & Dream IPTV?

What VPN location works best? I have Strong & Dream. Using Nvidia shields, Onn plus and Firesticks with Surfshark. Is it just trial & error?

I have great luck with Charlotte. I’ve seen others like Latham and @Miki uses Canada servers. I’m not sure there are any exact specs other than ā€œtrial and errorā€.

Thank you Grace. I meant to post this in the main topic area.

I use a Canadian VPN service in the states. Usually the closest location will provide the fastest service. I can look at the speed of servers on my homepage and try them out. I use 6 different servers on my router and rarely have to change servers because of lack of speed.

Thank you!

I tried the Static IP servers about 8 months ago and had good luck, but have found lately all the US servers are crowded and sometimes produce buffering. The Chicago regular server is close, usually not crowded and works for me. Funny how some servers work for some but not for others. Haven’t tried Grace’s suggestion of turning off Clean Web in SS because haven’t had the need.

The problem with this topic is that while one VPN location may work for you, it won’t for others. So the best answer for this is, use the one for you that gets the best speeds. In other words, try a VPN wherever you want, and test for speeds.

I think that, if you’re asking for opinions of the speed of different VPN remote endpoints, you (and anyone that replies) really need to specify which VPN software is being used as each brand has its own endpoints in each of the locations they offer. So ā€˜City X’ may have a blazingly fast endpoint using ā€˜VPN Software Y’ but crawl like a 2-legged tortoise using ā€˜VPN Software Z’

Still the same problem but making it even more complex. One location may work good for you but not others. VPN suppliers are everywhere and I’m certain many insiders are aware that there are good and bad players in the VPN business. But if we start stretching deeper and deeper into the abyss then we must also take into account the specs of every device we own, simply because if I have say SurfShark on all my devices then I will get different speeds from each device, using the same VPN location. To top it off, one location may work today but not tomorrow. We can’t outguess mother nature and sometimes routes to a location will change with bad weather, even solar activity.
