What is the easiest way to delay the start of SurfShark VPN and Sparkle when Firestick Max 4K reboots?

Hi. I am having issues with SurfShark VPN starting too quickly. It shows it is connected to a VPN site, but I can’t connect to any website. I’m thinking that I need to wait 30 seconds after the Firestick boots before I start SurfShark and then wait another 30 seconds before starting Sparkle. Any idea how to do this? thank you!

Have you turned off “Auto Connect” (in settings) on startup? Then just start SS manually when you’re ready.

Thanks, but I have a routine that reboots my network infrastructure and fire stick every day and want the apps to start automatically. manual startup shouldn’t be necessary in our days of automation and sustainable abundance!

Would it be possible to use adb commands to build a routine that launches apps sequentially? Possibly with even a delayed start.

Disclaimer: Just learning to use some of the developer tools. So do not know for certain.

@tman ….have you tried SS with the CleanWeb function set to off, being on was causing some folks problems similar to your, maybe it will help–maybe not, but it’s free to try….if it works THEN i’ll send ya tech support bill :money_mouth_face:  :money_mouth_face:

I can tell you already it doesn’t work!!!

Actually, I never turned on Cleanweb, so I guess I can you send a bill!!!
