What am I missing?

I started my cord cutting endeavors with Kodi (worth mentioning it was without Real Debrid though), however I found Kodi to be more hassle than it was worth. Aside from finding a good build that suited my needs, the most frustrating part was having all add-ons update each time I used it.

Since finding TroyPoint I moved to IPTV for live TV and Syncler for shows and movies. This seems lightyears better than anything I was doing on Kodi.

My questions is, since so may people seemingly use Kodi was I doing it all wrong at the time? Maybe there is additional content on Kodi that I just dont consume, so maybe that’s why. But I don’t understand why anyone would go through the trouble of Kodi when TiviMate and Syncler replace any verified IPTV or cable service.

Appreciate any feedback or benefits of Kodi that I may have been overlooking or doing incorrectly. thanks!
