Yeah, 8GB storage in the stick is marginal if you want more than a couple of apps.

The nice thing about having so many options, is because each box/stick has a different use/requirement. Shields, Onn Pros, etc etc are great for main family room televisions, possibly with surround sound systems and/or other peripherals and 4k/8k video. The smaller boxes/sticks are great for satellite TVs (bedroom, den, kitchen, bathroom, office, etc etc) and travel. In a more mobile application, you likely need less apps than you would need on your main television system. I think it is great to have so many affordable options, as so many of us have so many different needs for each of these.

I wouldn’t waste $ at this point on a device that isn’t 4K.

I purchased a ONN box. Tried to log in with a Canadian email. Now it says it can’t continue and I can’t go back to use a US email. Any suggestions? Please help
is there a way to start from the beginning?

Hi there is a factory reset button on the box you can do that come back to Troypoint And you can search how to use a VPN I believe on your phone and then use the phone as a hotspot for the first login of the onn box probably need to pick a US IP address. Once you’ve done that initial setup I think you will be fine after that to use your own internet. Hope I’ve helped

@steve1, here is how to reset your ONN Pro/Plus box. This will take you back to factory settings.
After you reset, go to the magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner of this post to do a search on how to set up an ONN box in Canada.
