Walmart Onn 4K Pro Review & Guides

Steve11220, if the sticks are working for you, then you are golden.

If that is all you are using them for and they work, and 4K is not a priority, you saved some money. I bought 3 of them over the black friday sales they were selling them for $9, to buy the remote is $13.
I got one out and played with it and it will tell you when you have to much on it, it will really lag and even buffer.

i only use TIVIMATE on my ONN stick and seems to work fine… .. wasn’t trying to be cheap but just seemed easier to use that then the puck Style. I really don’t care about the 4K thanks for your input and help

Glad it’s working good for you @Steve11220! I may pick one up just to tinker with it.

They work fine but lack resources so you are better off with the Plus or Pro but I have a couple of the 19 dollar boxes they both still work fine.

We have a Plus, a Pro, an old 4k and a new model 4k.

Both the Plus and Pro have a kind of serious problem which the regular 4k’s don’t share…the Bluetooth connections crap out after about an hour or so regardless of the device they are connected to via Bluetooth.

hey Tim i use ONLY tivimate and 1 backup IPTV… nothing else no KODI etc simply straight forward

Gotta love it when simple works the best.:nerd_face:

I know no one has the answer. But I’m going to ask when are the old Fire Sticks going to be obsolete? Is it waiting on Europe first to get hit? I jumped the gun a little bit and bought the ONN at Walmart but they’re working fine I don’t care

They won’t ever be obsolete. New OS - Vega on them. You just won’t have the freedom to modify them like we use to.

Any Minute Now

@itzme Hopefully no one is epileptic here. That flashing sign would send them into a seizure for sure.

MECOOL KM2 Plus 2GB 16GB Smart TV Box , Google Assistant Dolby Atmos, TV Box 4K Support AV1, 2.4G/5G, Ethernet, WiFi 5, BT 5.0 with Amlogic S905X4. I know nothing what all of that means I what some that good and buget friendly these units are all under $150 taxes and all. are they worth the buy on amazon canada.

Did you have a look on Amazon. They have them, just a bit more expensive.

If it were me I would be looking at the google streamer 4k or the Ugoos SK2. There is a Kinhank G1 in the swap shop here also.

You can check this out also, it is filtered for netflix certified but if you go to the top of the page you can change the filter. Have a look, it may give you some more ideas.

yes ,i read alot of the reviews. Theres a quiet a few claiming the Onn box won’t work in Canada . Us region only

Oh no. The model from Amazon Canada is different then One from the US. But there are instructions on how to authorize the Onn for Canada. Just have to use the search.

I’ve set up ONN boxes in both the US and Canada and they all work great. I have an ONN Pro that was purchased, setup and is being used in the US. I bought on ONN Plus in the US, set it up in the US and gave it to my son who lives in Canda and uses it there. My brother-in-law who lives in Canada bought an ONN Plus from Walmart there which I then set up while I was up there and he is now using with no issues.

There have been no problems with any of them. I think where you run into issues is where you buy the box in the US but try to set it up in Canada.
