Thanks I will check it out
Google āDownloader apkā and download it from any of the links. Then sideload onto the Onn box from your computer with AdbLink from Jocala.com. Works fine on my Onn 4K Plus.
Good evening everyone. So I sideboard load the kodi app onto my onn 4k then when I went to add diggz to it I typed everything in correct but couldnāt get it to download. So I did it all on a flash drive uploaded it to my onn 4k and I was up and running for a day. Now when I pull up the kodi app and like on something it just loads forever. Any help would be amazing.

Sorry im new to all this. I belive I mean the build that has the Wizard with everything on it.
No worries..we all get started different ways. As I suggested earlier, Start Fresh and Reset your Onn to Factory Fresh out of the Box State by
1 - Pressing and Holding Reset Button (on back of box) for 5 seconds
2 - While still pressing reset button, unplug the device
3 - While Still pressing reset count for 5 seconds.
4 - Stiil pressing the reset, plug the box back in.
5 - While its booting let the reset button go.
This Brings up a menu from which you can use the reset button with short presses to scroll through and highlight the listed options. When you get to the option to Fully Reset
Press and hold to initiate the command.
For a visual guide to do this I performed a youtube search and watched while taking notes.
HERE IS THE VIDEO
I JUST did this the other day for my daughter who had hers so hung up it couldnt wiggle. Works great, she is happy.
Then, Here is a GREAT GUIDE by TROY to get you started correctly with your new Onn.
I highly suggest you start off with a simple configuration to get you going, then READ READ READ up on doing more advanced stuff, like trying a ābuildā.
NOTICE: the following is only MY Opinion and what works for me. It is in NO WAY intended to be a de-facto guide, as there are TONS of ways to do this and Iām sure many are more stream-lined. Im only trying to help get you going smoothly.
01 - Get ONN going and setup properly, remote added, (follow screen prompts).
02 - Add VPN and Configure. (Read up and add MONITOR DOT Later if you wish)
03 - Add TiviMate (or player of your choice but here again, keep it simple to start)
Add your playlist to be able to watch live stuff and your local channels. Dont forget to run your VPN.
04 - Add Kodi
05 - Configure Kodi by installing an Add on which will allow you to find Videos to Watch.
I recommend Installing āThe Gearsā for starters, then READ UP on how to Install āUmbrella with CoCo Scrapersā which is not hard but more advanced.
06 - Add a Debrid Service like Premiumize to be able to get reliable and vetted links to movies and shows you wish to view.
Then, READ UP on BUILDS like Diggz etc. To me they are over-bloated and use too many vital system resources to achieve what I simply wish to do which is just WATCH STUFF. They are fun to play with though, but you may wish to practice on a seperate box (not your ādaily driverā). You can even Create Your Own Build if you wish and when you get ready.
Hope this gets you pointed in the right direction for now. Best of luck to you and please keep us posted on your progress.
READ ON &
!!!
Not sure what you are trying to say here?
You canāt use a build without adding it to Kodi.
Fixed, thanks
I have had a 4K Pro since March, has given me issues but all in all is is good. I added a second and then a third remote, they all worked well. Original Black with big blue button, Replacement Onn remote, and a Ugoos UR02. I also added my phone S25 Ultra, worked well.
A short time ago I noticed the after the last update, my phone will not connect, the Onn shows it but will not connect to it.Then I noticed the remotes giving me issues, I would be scrolling say down or across a list of movies or groups in tivimate and other apps, and it would just take off just scrolling nonstop until I hit a button to stop it and then the remote would not work, if I picked up the other one it worked and then I could use the first one again. They disconnect, I have time when I try to turn everything on with the remote when I press the power button it gives me a red light, I keep pressing it and it will finally work. All three remotes do this so it is not them.
I was in the remote section of settings and I can watch them disconnect. If I use one and just scroll up and down there, I can see the one I was using prior that showed as connected now is disconnected.
Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix for it, I have restarted it I have unplugged it overnight, issue still continues.
Iāve experienced something similar on both my ONN Pro and my AM9. They just power off when Iām doing anything with the remote. I just have to hit the power button and they return to what was on when it powered off. I figured that it was just some bug with Android 14, maybe?
Do you have CEC enabled on the ONN? I have the 4K Pro and have never once had to power on or off my ONN remote and have had zero issues with the remote. When I turn my TV on and switch input to the ONN box it powers up. When I turn my TV off the ONN box turns off
The box stays on, it is remotes that turn of, or the box disconnects them. The remotes always have power 70% plus on the batteries.
Yes the Onn remotes power the tv, the box, and the sound bar.
Not sure what you mean about powering on or off the remote. It always has power from the batteries, but the box disconnects it from itself, if it was only one remote that disconnects I would think it was that remote, but it is all 3 of them, so that to me is the box. They are connected by bluetooth so not sure why it drops the connection.
