LOL the remote with the large “Free TV” Button is a total design Flaw since the button next to it (above to the right) with the TV Icon also takes you to the Free TV area.
I wondered about that when it first came out too. I really thought it was a mistake that they corrected. I’d rather not have it. Seems unnecessary and in the way. Hopefully they can shutoff the function.
Backlight is a nice touch but not a big deal. My remote thumb muscle memory is still good. Lol
Backlight can be good but also drains batteries quicker of course.My main buttons to have on any streaming remote these days is skip forward and skip back.It’s very handy on tvmate catchup.
I received the Onn box three days ago from Walmart and the enclosed remote has the backlight function.
has anyone that is currently using the ONN 4k pro tried to use the external storage of a Sd card or similar while using TiviMate? The last android 13 Tv Box that I had would not record on the SD card for scheduled recordings no matter what I did( it would record if you manually hit record, but never if you had a recurring scheduled recording, for example). Often times it would say that it recorded , and the recording would either be unreadable or not there at all.
I’m not sure if someone has figured out a workaround yet or not, but I was not able to get Tivimate to record to a USB drive plugged into the port on the Onn Pro 4K box.
