I bought a V3 Plus for a deal from a local dealer, because it was traded in on an upgrade by one of his customers.
I rarely use it and most of the time is just to see if it still works after sitting for weeks.
I agree it is easy to use and set up, content is not as good as you can get on other devices, but it is more than adequate for most people, especially if someone doesn’t want to put in the time or effort to set up their own Android box with different apps.
Mine is plugged in and connected to my ixfinity gateway and has only gotten flagged for anything, once or twice.
Yes there is a video or so out there saying how bad these are for different behind the scenes things, but if there were real issues I think there would be far more complaints and information instead of a lot of rehashed information. Much like the cheap chinese boxes and all their malware.
Sure did read it. I also read everything else that TP reviews and posts. Hence my growing amount of devices and apps. I guess I have graduated to hobbyist, thanks TP, lol. Stream on.
I have ZERO problems with V3+ or V6+. No extra bandwidth or malware issues. Worth every penny
I don’t use mine much v3+ but when I did mess with it, it didn’t seem to have a lot of higher quality video, 4K mostly seemed like 1080, and I couldn’t find new stuff anywhere near as fast as I could on the other boxes with apps like weyd, STRMR and Nuvio.
Is this something you noticed?
Also, what is the main difference between the 3+ and 6+?

6+ has a faster processor and one additional app
I find everything i need to watch. Pictures are sharp, crystal clear, i watch every MLB game. The VOD is great, but I also use stremio with torbox attached. To each their own, ive been streaming over 15 yrs, i just like the ease of use and not dealing with resellers of ip tv subscriptions.
