VPN provider bans BitTorrent after getting sued by film studios
I hope thats not a trend…but I bet it does

It seems that a lot of lesser known VPN services are getting hit and rolling over because of the legal implications. I also think its about location of the VPN. Some countries don’t have laws on the books making what the companies do illegal

Yes, there’s the answer. Most top notch VPN companies are located in obscure countries like the Maldives or Fiji or wherever because they know they can’t be touched. So cheaper doesn’t mean better
