I just wanted to share this tip with Kodi users that like to use voice search instead of typing. Although the keyboard in Kodi doesn’t show a microphone above the keyboard there is a voice search feature . When the keyboard is on your screen to search for a movie or tv show press and hold the " ok/select" button on your remote control. You will hear a beep and the search field will appear at the top of the screen . Speak what you are searching for. After you’re done speaking you will hear a beep …press the “arrow back” button on your remote and the words will appear in the search field of the Kodi keyboard 
* This works for Android devices. Not sure if it works on Fire TV.
