Using VPNs to view out of market broadcasts

Can I view live tv such as a football game if I am out of the market (geographically) by selecting a VPN located in the originating team’s broadcast area?

What app would you use to stream the game? Are you talking IPTV or a different streaming app?

In theory yes but some catch the VPN and wont allow it. Case in point, I still have cable, the big R and an app to watch things BUT if I am in the USA and even login to a Canadian server, the app says, Good luck with that. They should not stop VPN’s if you’re not in the country.

I am assuming I can use the local tv station app where the game could be found during local broadcasts. Am I incorrect in my thinking that access would be available?

my iptv provider has all the locals from all us cities…i just tune to the local station from that city to watch games that are otherwise blacked out for the rest of the country such as games on peacock…but you can view them on the local stations
