Using discord to find IPTV services

I see posts in here with people finding subs from website.

I currently sub to about 6 services - most or all under $10/month (some have discounts when you 3+ months) I never sub for more then 3 months at a time.

I find all my services from discord. They have been all great. I use TiVimate / IMplayer on a Nvidia Shield hardwired.

The Tivimate discord channel has IPTV promoted. Let me know if I can help anyone here. I’ve been in this game since 2015.

How can I find the Tivimate discord channel? I am new to discord.

I believe it’s this one (found via reddit) TiviMate Community

After you sub to the Tivimate discord (this is not an official Tivimate Dev discord. I don’t think there is one) Look for the IPTV category and IPTV recommendations. There should be some invites to IPTV services.

I’ve been trying to find a new service. After 5 good years, my service has died. I’m unable to find anything on Discord and everyone else refuses to share their service due to other bad actors. Do you have any service that you can recommend?

Does anyone have link or invite to discord?

Discord is a Platform with Thousands of different servers. I use Discord a lot but for different reasons than trying to find an IPTV service. Typically you need an invite to a specific Discord server. While there are legitimate unverified IPTV Discord services because the publicity these get and the number of subs sold they may not be the best place to get a service from. And more of these are getting shut down due to the fact they advertise on Discord and elsewhere

Thanks MarkxG. I’ve been using Discord for quite some time. Like you I have never subscribed to an iptv service hawked on there. There are a fair share of slammers.

I was hoping to get some incite on one issue I have regarding adding to the watch list and or collection. Some tv series show up and some don’t. When I do another search for the ones not showing up, the+ sign indicates they are in my list. They show up on my android phone. I’m using a new onn 4k pro. Maybe it’s just a bug since it’s so new.

Anyway thanks so much.

Mark I changed slammer to scammers 3 three times. Geez

I’ve been using Eagle Cast TV for over a month and really like it. US and Canada only. 48 hour free trial, 5 devices, no IP lock, $20 per quarter - $7 per month. Tanya has a good review on Rumble from firetvsticks. Eaglecast(.)tv

I just checked Eagle Cast web site and they’ve added some movies and other features and are now $30 for 3 months or $10 per month but still …. 5 devices, no IP lock … I’ll probably renew.

Has anyone used or know about eaglecast tv as a iptv service?

I was hoping someone else in addition to Dave would post their experiences with Eaglecast.

I chatted with them last night and the big negative about their service is that Eagle doesn’t supply either an Xstream nor a m3u file to intergrade into your own TV player. In fact, their newest app is a Tivimate fork and you’d have to delete it in order to install Eagle’s.

I tried their 48 hr free trial that was only for 24 hrs, they had no options for close caption on their app and then said will we have tivimate for close caption ,but you had to delete your tivimate with all your other sub and install theirs only, that is a no go

Thanks for your information.

To be fair, EC in our chat was upfront regarding having to delete the present Tivimate installed and the EPG not being available on their legacy app.

On the positive side, it’s not too difficult to back up Tivimate’s data to restore it if you reinstall it.

The Discord platform can work very well for a discrete IPTV service. The trick is for the service not to advertise in any form on the platform and limit site access and subscription to invitation only from a very select few individuals associated with the site.

Invite only services will only use their app with hardcoded URL - they only give you username / password

They do have a “Legacy” app which allows you to view their content and keep your TiviMate intact.
