Due to my income, I do not have unlimited data with my internet service. Does using a VPN with my shield tv box automatically increase the amount of data that I use. I have been using a stream locator for a year only to discover that it has nothing what so ever to do with a VPN.
If anything it cuts your data usage down considerably.
Just wanted to say thanks to Troy and all you members for your help with my concerns about using a vpn, and data usage. I must admit that I paid $100 for my stream locator box and I use the several ethernet plug ins it has. My internet cable modem only has 1 ethernet plug in. I don think I have ever use the Geo capabilities of the Locator because I use Tivimate and that kind of thing. I get more channels than I will ever look at. But thanks again guys.
