Everyone should become a reseller. Why you might ask, because you can get a top notch service for the cost of the whole sale china service. Just ask your current provider if they offer reseller service. You should be able to buy credits for around $2-3. Most places 1 credit equals 1 month 1 connection of service. There is no rule that you can’t just sell to yourself. You get your own panel where you should be able to manage your account. Change your username and password. Check your connection. Just my thoughts on saving money
and i could charge me $6 and double my money….cha ching $$$$
Most you need to buy 120 or 250 credits though, so I guess you could be good for close to ten years.
The most common I have seen is 50 credits first time buying. Some are 50 minimum and some any amount after the initial buy in. Then if you have multiple connections and most of us are helping family and or friends. 50 can go quicker than you might think
I’m not up on the subject. But I plan to keep my eyes on this to see if anyone comes up with reasons not to do it. Thanks Kingbishop
If you are doing it just for you and no one else, then it could be great depending on the cost. The panel isn’t all that difficult once it is set up. The nice thing is you can wipe out the countries you don’t need, but then if some reason comes up you need one of them you can go back in and add it.
It is pretty much tivimate except you are not down to the channels, only down to moving groups.
No if you are going to do it and have family or friends now it is the headache, because you are now tech support and every time that little spinny spinny buffering bug shows up your phone will ring.
Multiple connections usually require less credits I believe than single, but also multiple may not be great for some to share in as they want different groups, maybe someone wants Canada and some don’t so you need to add. But is is nice if you have people that you can hook up to it and potentially save a few bucks.
It’s a nice idea but I’d be concerned that, if things went tits-up and you ended up coming to the attention of ‘The Powers That Be’, you will be seen as a commercial supplier of pirated content rather than a consumer. Consumers tend to get a slap on the wrist, suppliers don’t…
I would like to think if it went that far that those powers would have access to your panel and finances and see you were not a key player just an everyday person trying to save a few bucks.
That’s one point of view…another would be of the ‘We’ll prosecute anyone we find selling pirated content’ variety.
Even if, at the end of the day, they chose not to prosecute you’d undoubtedly have every PC, laptop, phone and (probably) TV box impounded for forensic analysis along with your bank accounts frozen while they worked out the scale of your ‘Enterprise’
It’s a risk/reward calculation and, IMO, the potential rewards for small-scale reselling don’t justify the risks - as always, your milege may vary and other opinions are available
I enquired with a reseller and they told me that they expected at least 3 new subs sold a month or they wouldn’t sell me more credits
that just sounds crazy, cuz once they sell you the credits, they have their money, and if you don’t sell them you are losing money, not them, AND there is less load on the servers !!! seems like a win win for them, but what the heck do i know….
sounds like a little bit of a greedy seller but it was worth asking in my opinion.
I don’t think that I’d be too worried about getting in trouble if all you were doing is supplying yourself and a few family members or close friends. I’d be more worried about placing all your eggs in one basket if your supplier got shut down.
I’d think it’d be safer to get a bunch of cheap connections from different services and distribute those.
If it’s just you, or you’re worried about the powers that be, then skip it. But for those of us with a big family full of users it’s a god send.
These sellers see reseller panels as a business and need you to sell
If you tell them it’s for friends / family, they will not deal with you
Great idea ONLY if you’re interested in being tech support for “rookies” when they have an issue.
A group of cheap connections from different providers and Dispatcharr to serve family members (and select friends) works very well!
