Usb storage on firecube

Set up a firecube with a usb on otg cable. If it’s set up to internal storage, does that mean the fire cube storage will show being used up first and then the storage on the usb. It’s 128g

I’m pretty sure Troy has a “how to” on adding memory to Firesticks and probably the Cube. If I remember correctly while doing that you can tell the box how you want items saved as well as moving things to the USB. Do a search on Firesticks. I’m sure you will find your answer there.

Thanks for answering so promptly. I’ve set it up according to his video and I’ve side loaded apps that went right to the usb which it indicates. The videos don’t address whether the usb storage kicks in after the storage is used up from the firecube storage is used first. When I record something the decrease in the fire cube numbers show it went down. So I am not sure if the usb thats formatted to internal storage will kick in after the fir cube storage is used up
