We’ve finished updating our IPTV Services Category.
We encourage TROYPOINT Patrons to use this category to provide IPTV Service recommendations and guides to other users. It can also be used to ask for recommendations as well. Links to both verified (legal) and unverified services are allowed in this private category.
All topics within the IPTV Services Category now come with a new Vote button toward the top of the page.
Each Patron is allocated a certain number of “Votes” depending on their current Trust Level within the site. You can remove a vote for a topic by clicking the “Voted” button and this will return a vote back to you so you can use it on a different topic. When you hover over the Vote button it will tell you how many Votes you have remaining. Also, after you vote, you will see a link “your votes” that will take you to the topics you’ve previously voted for. This allows you to manage your current votes.
The system doesn’t offer unlimited Votes because it doesn’t want users voting for everything they see. Votes should only be awarded for a topic that Patrons feel is helpful and worth their stamp of approval.
Once people start voting for their favorite topics, users will be able to click the Votes button within the IPTV Services Category to sort by popular topics. That’s the whole idea of this…allowing our Patrons to see what is working well for others in terms of IPTV Services.
The Vote button is only available within the IPTV Services Category for now. We may roll it out to other categories where it would make sense.
