After getting error messages when trying to use Downloader, I restarted our Skystream android box, and when that didn’t help, I uninstalled Downloader and tried to reinstall from Google’s play store. I got “this will not work on your device” and couldn’t install it. Is there any other place I can find Downloader? Thanks.

I’m thinking that Downloader is available through the Troypoint toolbox.

This all started when the neither the Downloader code for the TP Toolbox(or the url) wouldn’t work. I tried using some of the suggestions on the TP site. Then I tried uninstalling Downloader, but was unable to reinstall it. I finally got Downloader back, but the code, and the url for TP Toolbox still won’t work.

Yes, it’s exactly the same url I posted, lol, I just use the hyperlink so he can actually see what to type into the Downloader browser. (it shows the url instead of an image preview)

I think most people just see an image though (then you click on it and look at the url at the top of the page)… unless there’s something to turn off image previews and mine is on.
Ya adding an unmodified url usually loads the landing page. I forgot to add the brackets so it doesn’t load a page. Oh well no biggy. It gets the job done.
When you click the reply button, if you click the icon that looks like a chain link, and type or paste your website url in there it will make your url show up instead of a preview image. If you just put the same url in the top and bottom, it shows the full link. That’s just how I’ve been doing it. There may be another way you like better.
Nope. That’s a great idea. I think that way it will be less resource intensive for Troy’s servers. Tx Shayde.

I tried the url the way you suggested and I got error msg:Web server is returning an unknown error. Error code 520. Visit cloudflare.com for more information. The number code gives the same response.
Must be something askew on your end somewhere. Works here. VPN on? Try off. Off? Try on.
Are you typing this url in the browser part of your Downloader app?
According to El Googlio, Error 520 is a Cloudflare error message indicating that the origin web server received an invalid or incorrectly interpreted request, resulting in an empty response.
i’m trying to open the Troy point toolbox… Having the same problem with the Cloudflare error message error code 520… Anyone have a solution?
