Ugreen Ethernet adapter with Fire TV Cube

Quick question… Anyone know how to use this Ethernet adapter with fire cube, dive it has micro USB input and ugreen only had the USB connection?
Also I tried it on the onn box and wouldn’t pick up the Ethernet… Thank u

If you can’t plug it into the cube it’s the wrong hub. If it’s right you plug the ethernet cable into the end and the micro usb into the cube. If that’s what a cube has?

I have two(2) of the Ugreen USB 3.0 LAN Adapter with 3 Ports USB Hub. The Model # is 20265. Is this what you have? What’s not working for you?

You need and OTG adapter or cable.

Yes that’s the one…but cube had micro USB input for Ethernet… And the ugreen uses usb-a for Ethernet output…

This is what I use. A powered hub.

fyi, thats a cheaply made connector and you will have continued issues untill you ditch it,…jus’ sayin’

Damn, I just ordered it… Do u have a link for a better one for me?

?? You ordered the Smays powered hub? That’s all you need.

300mbps no issues. It works great. Recommend by FireTVstick and Freetech.

Smays one limited to 100mbps. Ugreen with adapter will do 1GBps

Smays works flawlessly, is very inexpensive and 100Mbs down is more than enough to stream without buffering. The firestick only has a 10/100 switch so WiFi is faster if you have the proper conditions.

He is using with a firecube which evidently is not limited to 100Mbps as I get speeds close to 300Mbps.

Yup. The cubes have a higher switch. I think I’ll see if I can get someone to bring one down for me. They have awesome specs, but faster speeds beyond 35Mbs aren’t going to help. A little overkill. I get consistant 80+ and never have problems. But I’m not a gamer and don’t record. Streaming only.

I was looking at the Cube specs and it still has a 10/100 ethernet switch.

Any ideas why cube doesn’t see the Ethernet?

Really? My iptv provider has 4k channels.

Sorry. I’m not getting your point. You can stream 4k with just 30-35Mbs down. Not sure about 8K but I believe that is 100Mbs that is needed.
