Spoke with Ugoos this morning and they confirm it is 64 bit Kernal. But same software as AM 8.
I dont understand why they use a usb 3 port as OTG, using type A usb. And only have one additiona USB port type A.
The AM8 uses a separate OTG, type c port. And also has 3 other USB “A” ports.
And of course,Ugoos do not provide OTG cables with their devices.
Now that’s a word i have never heard before 
…i think i might have that condition when it comes to hand tools and battery powered tools !!

I don’t believe most android box makers provide a OTG cable. As to the USB ports, they provide 3.0 and 2.0, which is completely adequate. The big selling points here are the RAM, internal memory, processor and Ugoos overall hardware quality, flexibility and features, which beat most of the competition. There is nothing g better out there for streaming.
Well, Minix provide OTG cables. And their new device is looking very exciting.
Sure, i agree about Ugoos, i have the AM8. I wasnt criticising their latest innovation. Merely surprised at moving back from type C to type A OTG.
Yes it has 8gb Ram and 128 gb storage, but thats far in excess of what some people need to use, purely as a streaming device.
But, each to their own.
Or go for it and fill up every HDMI port in the house

My Ugoos AM8 boxes are running good on Slimbox firmware still. No issues
There is finally a video review on Utube that has some screenshots. The Antutu benchmark score on the SK 1 was 293513. That has to be close to or higher than Nvidia Shield.

Should’ve spent the extra for express shipping. Emailed them yesterday to see why I hadn’t received any tracking info yet and they Emailed back saying we’ll ship it today. I did get tracking no. about an hour ago so it’s coming.

Funny, got an ad from them this morning for the airmouse remote and sure enough, there was only 2 left.
I used to believe that crap. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve convinced my wife to let me pull the trigger on a new Cymbal or something because they were just about out and I didn’t want to miss out.
