Looking for direction as to where I might find links to local market affiliates (NBC, CBS…) that I can utilize with tivimate. Any ideas?
Most IPTV services have them.
Premium IPTV or an antenna are your two best bets for local channels. I would argue the antenna method more reliable for these. (Depending on your location)
Thank Miki. I am not interested in the full array of channels offered by typical IPTV services. I really just want to be able to get local affiliates from across the U.S. I am certain that there is no IPTV service which limits its offerings to local affiliates but though perhaps that I might be able to find links on Github or something similar. So far I have not been successful in locating any such links but before I throw in the towel, wanted to reach out to the group. Thanks again for you quick reply.
Thanks, I am looking for local affiliates across the U.S… Not interested in the full blown channel packages typically offered by IPTV services. I was hoping to find individual affiliate links on Github or something similar but suspect that what I am looking for doesn’t exist. Thanks again.
If you have a fire device they have local channels free. There is Haystack news, it also comes pre loaded on fire sticks. If you are close to a city then OTA Antenna probably your best option.

Looks like there may be other options in Troy’s article. There are many ways to find these channels, but without an antenna or paid service, there is no way to tell how dependable the sources are. I’m sure Github does have free IPTV sources that may include some of these. If someone has them, maybe that person can PM you the m3u file and give it a try in Tivimate.
I am not sure you understand completely. In order to effectively do what you are trying to do you will need an IPTV service. Then on an app like TiViMate you load everything you want into "Favourites ". After doing so you don’t need to open your “playlist” again. Finding the free feeds for local channels is a daunting, time consuming endeavor. But if you can find every networks app then you could load each of those. Then open each one individually as needed. Although not efficient it is doable. Search the net for those. GL2U.
A request I have made to the Tivimate developer was for an easy way to incorporate local channels either by antenna or most likely from antenna via hdhomerun device into Tivimate. I was told this was being discussed. You can manually add the locals into tivimate via hdhomerun but its tedious but doable if you do the homework needed. I currently use a combination of things to do this for my locals and combine them with my iptv subs.
That would be awesome for Tivimate. I use Plex Pass for my locals (and all my media server), and it was super easy to set up. It would be convenient if I didnt have to exit out of Tivimate to go to Plex app for my local channels, though.
$60 bucks a year will get you what you want plus a whole lot more!
Although, there are free sites you can find right here in the Insider. I posted many over a year ago and they are still active…well most are.
Thanks. I will do a bit more digging and see if I can find your post. If you happen to have them readily available, I’d greatly appreciate your sending them.

Hello.Did you ever have any luck with finding a M3U that has local tv stations in the United States.I also am looking for same m3u. The reason is not just for wife and I also for her parents and my parents who are all in there 80s and they see my tvs that my providers have all local news stations with our kids and grandkids towns thatvI put into a category on my TiviMates and they like that. I set there tvs up overca year ago with vpn, Tivimates and downloaded six m3us and ten EPGs to fill in 99 percent of 180 or so channels on both there tvs that almost works better than the tvs I have with my two providers. I also set up there Stremios for them which they love. I also wired there tv direct to there routers. The only cost for what they use there tv for is the monthly data plan, tor and vpn. I am yst checking if you found any. Thanks.
Do you have information on a m3u that only has local tv stations in all the united states abc CBS NBC fox. I have all those with my provider that I put the ones I want into a lical category on my TiviMate. My parents and my wife’s parents are all in there 80s and I set up there tvs over three years ago with Stemio, vpn, tor, TiviMates and installed six m3us and ten EPGs that update and fill in ninety percent for them. I don’t want them to useca provider like I have because they would be overwhelmed. I have on therevtvs in different categories around 220 channel’s. Wanted to check with you,
