For some reason when I attempt to load a TV show in the crew, it gives me a blank screen with the two dots. The Movie section loads fine and works well but I cannot load any TV show no matter which method I use. I have tried restarting, disabling the VPN, changing networks from 5g to 2.4g, emptying the history of searched shows….nothing worked so far. This problem just started a day or so, or at least that’s when I noticed it. Appreciate any help.
What is your version of The Crew? I have 2.0.6 and i am able to get tv shows.
After selecting TV shows from the main screen nothing happens or do you get the next big list of options?
I just now tried The Crew. It worked absolutely fine. I tried several shows, several seasons, and several episodes of a couple of shows. All played with no problems at all. I would be interested to know the solution when you get it to work.

That is amazing, the crew is the only one that I do have problems with, ie always coming back with only uncached results even when hide uncached is selected and several reverifications and when selecting a link it is completely different than the link description.
When I try to select a tv show it eventually gives me the screen with two horizontal dots. I do not get a list of what’s available. But the movies portion works fine.
Just tried mine all seems fine. Just a thought since I’ve had issues sometimes with other add-ons try uninstalling and reinstalling? which you probably did but thought I’d mention it

Do you think updating to Kodi 21.x would be the same as uninstalling then reinstalling?
Personally not really just because kodi was updated doesn’t always mean the apps follow suit with the updates at least in my experience working with laptops and such I’ve seen where updating an OS sometimes has other apps acting all funky and an uninstall reinstall has resolved not saying it will work but couldn’t hurt to try
This is for The Crew you are having issues with try uninstalling that from Kodi and reinstalling that is what I was speaking of not Kodi itself
Hold old is your version of kodi? If you arent on the Omega (21) then that could be an issue.
It would depend if the addon is compatible with the version you have and may cause issues.
My suggestion is to update to 21.1. There havent been any known issues that i am aware. See if that resolves your issue.
Also, try other addons. Umbrella works great as an example.
The current version is 20.5. One thing I probably should have mentioned is this is unique to one of my neighbors. I have installed firesticks on several neighbors and everyone else is working fine. I will ask her to check another app - Seren or Infinity - to see if they work. If those work, then it must be something goofy with The Crew. If they do not work, then I am really stumped. Thanks for your input.
Kodi’ls last stable release is 21.1.
If all of the others are running 20.5 and only 1 is having issues then its not an issue with The Crew.

Wondering if the crew needs specific setting to function properly, tried it about a week ago, kept getting only uncached results, despite choosing hide uncached, RD working fine not expired, and when picking a show on the ones that did show up cached, it would give me something just miles away from what I picked. Like say pick ER, it would start playing Doogie Howser or sum junk, very frustrating. Don’t know if I have the energy to fight with it anymore.
Was using The Crew for years no issues. As long as you have RD no problems. Not sure why so many have problems with the VOD portion of KODI. Now the Live TV part of KODI? If you want consistent Live TV IMO you need a paid IPTV service. Remember these KODI developers are unpaid hobbyists just like us.
And I switched from The Crew to Umbrella about 6 months ago. Not because of any issues with The Crew. Just that Umbrella is lightenening fast with the Cocoscrapers
Ok, I did mess around a bit with the iptv part of kodi, it did seem clunky at best. Decided live tv isn’t worth the hassle, so I just use an antenna for locals, mostly just want to get the local news so I might get a heads up if there’s some kind of uprising or ww3 breaks out near me, lol.
I have omega. When I go to the crew I get all the options. As soon I choose one I get thrown out. I guess I need to delete and start over. I’ve been through this before
Although yesterday I was quite surprised that most of the live channels for college football played flawlessly all day long on The Crew. I don’t need these as I get them on IPTV although was told this from a friend that I set KODI up for
Kool, I’d definitely try that if I was into watching sports, sounds like a fine solution. I tend to look for decent movies, old or new, most of the newer ones seem to be not very good tho. I also like the ones that are SO bad that they’re good like “Napoleon Dynamite” n such. Some of the old movies are a hoot to see how they dressed and talked back then and see all the old vehicles n things. Charlie Chaplin cracks me up too, in those silents where he’s always battling with someone or something like a machine etc.
