I have a KM3 Android TV Box and certain apps keep getting disabled (frozen) and will not show up on the launcher. It was suggested to turn off Google Play Protect. I don’t have that option on the KM3 under settings or any other place in Google Play. On the KM3, Security & Restrictions - Verify Apps, the button is greyed out and seems off. Any suggestions?

Play Protec t is a setting located within the Google Play Store app. When you open your app click on your profile picture and you should see Play Protect. Then click on it and you should see your options to turn on or off. I have both Play Protect and Improve harmful app detection turned off.
On my MeCool KM1 Deluxe, these steps lead to “find out more” and then a google website. No way to turn it off. I did disable “automatically update apps” just now. We will see if that helps.
