I just bought the firestick 4k (not the max) to upgrade an older firestick that has slowed down and even frozen on me at times. I’m assuming it is because of memory space with less than 1gb left of the 5.94gb it came with. How can I transfer my apps from one to another without having to start all over? Especially my IPvan and IPTVservice.
From my own experience, it’s better to do a clean install of whatever you want on the new Stick. Get Downloader and Troy’s Rapid App Installer. Reinstall your VPN and IPTV service as per their directions. I just went from a 2nd gen Firetvstick to a 4K as you are describing. Yes, it took me almost an hour, but it was time well spent on my “hobby”.
