I try to authenticate my Trakt and the screen pops up i enter the code on the website Trakt says all good, but the pop-up nevers goes away, and when i exit and come back Trakt is not Authorized, there is an error saying Account Manager has an update but no way of updating and when i check the release is correct. End result no Trakt’s. Unloaded and clean reload twice no luck, any clues
Its a known issue and mentioned on the Diggz Forum. I must have updated before the issue because my Trakt account is linked and working.
The Chef stated in a Post that it has nothing to do with the build. Doesn’t say what the actual issue is though. Account Manager?
My AM version is 2.6.3 if that helps

A possible temporary solution. Disable the trakt menus and the Trakt error message should disappear until the problem is fixed.
I am going to try and load the build on a fork and see what happens.
I just loaded 1.9 on Troys fork and my Trakt authenticated without errors. I did notice that it took a little longer from the approval on the trakt app to the window closing on kodi. Id estimate about 15 seconds. Normally its about 1 second.
Im using my Nvidia shield tv pro. I bet on a less powerful device it would take longer. If that is the case with you, I’d suggest giving it extra time than usual to load everything and authorize.

I found a back door round it I went to the Add-ons and opened the Trakt Add-on and in there you can authorize and it worked!!! All good now.

Good to know. Sound like its possibly a AM error. But not sure why mine is working.
Someone on the other forum says the issue is fixed. Probably explains why i had no issue when testing.
