I tried bootstrapper but it only allowed one premium debrid service at a time so I went back to my old setup. Torrentio, Torrentio RD, Torrentio PM, Media Fusion with both RD and PM. Comet RD and PM, and Jacketio RD and PM as well as ThePirateBay +. Never at a loss for sources.
You wonât if youâre using a VPN, unless you spend a lot of time finding a particular one that isnât being blocked by torrentio.
If youâre using a debrid service, you donât need a VPN anyway
.
I have 2 debrid services and would never connect to the Internet without an active VPN. I have no issues pulling sources with Torrentio, Torrentio RD and Torrentio PM with my Proton VPN active. Easy enough with thousands of VPN servers across over 120 countries to find compatible ones for Torrentio.
Do you know if changing to the Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 or 1.1.1.2 DNS gets around this? I THINK I did this once but no clue there the video went showing how to do it went. I thought someone other than TP did a video I watched.
UPDATE - I found a Squiffy video showing how to do it. Thanks.
Thatâs fine, just unnecessary with debrid.
Vpn would not save you anyways considering you are putting your api key into scrapers which pull the manifest each time you open stremio.
I found several Surfshark servers that allow Torrentio to now work. It was so simple after all the crapping around Iâve been doing to get it to work. All my Kodi Torrentio sources now populate too.
So why is the Torrentio developer blocking all these server addresses? Seems he (or she)âs shooting himself in the foot???
Umm in your opinion. I prefer to be exact and precise in my selections for security. Each to their own, thatâs why this hobby is great for all of us. Options and the ability to do it our own way.
Have a buffer free day.
Unfortunately it does take a little effort and time. For example I have no idea why a server in the Netherlands works for me when one in say Toronto or Montreal wonât. Go figure.
