TizenTube App on Firestick/Android TV (Ad-Free YouTube)

I’m not able to update either on my 4K Max. However, just updated my ONN 4K Pro with vpn on with no problems and videos are playing as well.

I saw this problem the other day. Couldn’t get past the update. I ended up doing a force stop/clear cache and it went away.

Clearing cache and clearing data didn’t work for me. I uninstalled it and reinstalled from TP toolbox. Its an older version. I then was able to get it to update. It took about 30 seconds or more for the update screen to popup. Also, it took about 30 seconds or more for the update to complete. Playing videos are a little delayed on my 4K Max, but no on my ONN 4K Pro.

Good luck with get update to work

Thank you.

Thank you. I know I’ve seen the force stop before but can’t find it now. I cleared the cache (on the firestick, right?) which didn’t work. But I’ll force stop and clear cache again after I find the force stop! LOL

I would just skip doing all I did if its working. TP toolbox will probably update to the latest version in a couple days.

Good idea! I might use part B of “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” which is “If it’s only partly broke and it still works, don’t fix it!”

I have exactly the same problem on my 4k max FS but curiously not on my 4k FS. I have tried everything - VPN onnand off, uninstalling/teinstalling - but nothing makes any difference. Every tbings TLL works tbought.

I’ve had a similar problem with this 2.02 update on a Ugoos boxes, however there is a short term fix until a future release comes through. Go to TizenTube settings then open TizenTube Colbalt Updater and uncheck for updates on startup.

I just tried Tizentube updater again. I unchecked check for updates on startup. I backed out of the app, restarted Tizentube again. Tried to update and got kicked out again. But the app still works like I said above so all is good. I think I said I had firestick, and it’s a 4K. Thanks for the info!

For what it’s worth:

I was having this issue with my Tizen Tube until I installed it then went back to Troy’s toolbox and reinstalled it, it asked to update after that and it’s been working fine (so far)

I recently installed the latest update and after doing so the app crashes after a few minutes of using it on my fire stick anyone know of a fix for this?
