I switched over from a Firecube to Nvidia Shield. Set up Tivimate with all my favorites and other tweaks but cannot for the life of me figure out one last setting. The setting I am looking for is when I am in the TV guide and scrolling through the various channels, I have the preview function on but do not want it to follow every channel I scroll through while also keeping a one click select to watch it in full screen. I can get to the latter but not the former as it always previews each channel I scroll across. I’ve read the Tivimate guide on how to set up Tivimate but still can’t figure out how to work as it did on the Firecube.
Settings>Appearance>TV Guide>Preview>On>Autoplay Channels>Off> Stay on TV guide>Off
You can also set your time to go to full screen lower. I believe default is 120", but you can set it to None or varying increment of up to 300".
You can also while in full screen use the “right Directional” button and it will bring up your guide. Then when you scroll to whatever channels you want and click it will play auto in full screen. If you wish for the Guide to disappear. Then just click the back button, or you can wait for the timer to go to full screen reacts to your set time.
