Cannot get program names for quite a while on TiVimate. What’s going on?
I love their recording feature but hard to use with no information on all my channels, can any one help me with that ?
This has nothing to do with Tivimate. Tivimate is just the app used for your IPTV service. If you are having problems with missing channel EPG info with your service contact your service provider and let them know
As MarkxG stated that is completely a provider issue, nothing to do with tivimate.
I had one provider a month ago that I took a trial on. They were indignant that it was Tivimate and if I used their app I wouldn’t have any problems with the EPG…LOL. Needless to say I just deleted them and moved on.
You might try going to settings/epg and make sure “update on app start” and “update on playlist change” are on. I put Tivimate on my friends Onn Box and didn’t get any epg unstill I turned on those two options.
Nope, that’s not the problem.
Tivimate v.5.1.0 beta update is ready for download from the Play Store.
i hear there is a problem with the menu on the left side in the new release,i’d wait till more info is available
I haven’t experienced any issues, so far. I heard about that issue with the left directional button. I tested out all directional buttons, back button, and ok/select button and they all worked as they should.
I haven’t found any settings with any kind of issue. I updated yesterday late morning.
Using it all day with zero issues.
I have a question regarding IPTV provider(s) & playlists and available shows on TiViMate.
Is this the place to ask?
Terry K
No it is not. It’s against the rules, read the rules. You must be a patron and you must only speak of IPTV services on the category that says IPTV services!
Seems it might only affect some boxes…reddit has some good info
Isn’t the new version still in beta?
You can PM me with your question if you can.
Yeah, it seems some folks are experiencing issue using the directional buttons and maybe the groups cat.
Personally, on my Shield pro I have not had any issues with anything…so far.
I hope I am not stealing this thread.
If a VPN is applied to, in my case, to my TiViMate app,
does the IP address associated with my Bell Giga modem limit my 4KMax
TiVImate VPN location?
Terry K
As I mentioned to you, the VPN goes on your streaming device not the app. So if you leave your VPN on all the time, your apps will connect to the internet through the vpn unless white listed(bypassing the VPN). I would do some searching here and read up on exactly what a vpn is and what it does. Lots of info.
Thanks Miki for your help.

Any noticeable changes in 5.1? Do they have any release notes for their updates?
No changes I’ve noticed. I surfed the forums nad no available change logs. Rumour is tha this may simply have been a release to integrate the latest ExoPlayer update.
