Are you using a vpn with prime?
no vpn when using prime i have a subscription ,yes i also know i ca n use sportsfire, tvapp , and a few others but why should i when i get prime thanks for any help just not sure why it only happens when watching Thursday night football
Prime football is new to Amazon this year. maybe Prime was/is experiencing some tech issues. I would check with them or even maybe find some sort of a Prime support group or site.
Tbh, I have Prime but very, very rarely ever use it.
I have Amazon Prime and have not had any issues with the TNF games. If you have an IPTV service SkySports UK has Broadcast rights for TNF as well. It’s the exact same Broadcast as Prime you just get the quirky UK commercials
thanks for the advice guys guess i will have to do some research
If you also subscribe to one of Troypoint’s recommended IPTV service, you can watch the game on Canadian channels. I have a free Prime account this month and Thursday games have not been a problem. I agree it is should be working for you.
hey everyone thanks for the help after doing some research been reading not just me having issues with TNF on prime but there are many others having problems the NFL needs to step in and tell amazon prime they are not going to be able to stream TNF if they are unable to stream with no issues to the masses, too many people trying to stream the game at once is what is causing the problem, but you know they NFL won’t because the money amazon paying the NFL for TNF
Hi Joe, I can’t explain it but I had a bad experience for a few games watching with my Samsung tv Prime app and decided to try the Fire 4k max Prime app and the picture was perfect.
It’s got to be on Prime’s end. I don’t think they’ve figured out how to take care of that much traffic yet. I remember trying it with the same absolutely crappy experience.
And if you have an iptv sub you’ve probably got the NFL Network channels where you can watch the Thursday night game.
I thoroughly believe it is a Prime Video problem. It at times pixilates, drops frames, freezes, loses audio sync, and completely drops out on occasion. This ONLY happens on TNF, not any other stream on Prime, so it is not a problem at the end user’s. I believe they have issues with their feed from the game itself.
Maybe they don’t use AWS? ![]()

That is strange. I have Amazon Prime but instead of watching it on the Prime App I watch it on the Sky Sports UK channel on my IPTV service and the stream is flawless. I’m US based and do this so I can stay in my IPTV if I want to switch on commercials. Weird that users watching on Prine are having issues because the Sky Feed is the exact same US based Prime feed. Sky has the Amazon distribution rights in the UK. This Thursday I’ll test watching it on the Prime App to see if there are any issues
i am glad i get to watch TNF on local tv broadcast tonight because i’am near pittsburgh, a am glad to know this is happening to others so now i know it was not just me thanks
TNF is always on local channel in town of team’s playing, ex Pats n Pitt local Fox in Boston.
I’ve got 4 sources to watch tonight’s TNF game. The Amazon Prine app and from my IPTV service Sky Sports UK, Fox Boston local, and Fox Pittsburgh local. And there’s probably more local Fox channels in each teams respective viewing area
