I’ve tried installing the FEN addon following troypoint instructions. When installing the repository I get " This dependency on xbmc.python version 3.0.0 could not be satisfied" then it doesn’t install.

What device are you trying to install this on?
TIVO Stream, which has KODI.
I also tried several others from the troypoint list of most popular and they all did the same error. I’ve never had this issue before. Right now I currently use Exodus in KODI.

My apologies I know nothing about TiVo stream. I’m sure someone else will chime in and help you. Also search on here for more info. 
Clear your cache if you can.

had similar problem on kodi updated it to matrix 19.4 works fine now
I was afraid you were going to say that. The problem is, last time I updated then exodus would not work so I had to revert back. I don’t want to take the chance that it will mess up exodus again. Thanks though.
ok but there are a lot better apps than exodus that you could try as a lot of the newer apps wont run on older kodi sorry couldnt help anymore good luck
