I use TVBro for TheTVApp, but just about any brower will do.
Using the TV App Repo.
- Scroll to âCustom Shortcutsâ. Click on it and enter the web address. Then click âGenerateâ. Thatâs it, give it several seconds to generate the shortcut. Now you can place that shortcut on your home screen as is. If you want to customize the appearance of the icon. Then you can do so utilizing the other link I supplied for you.

In the off chance that you just may already know this, what is the app package name for the new Streamfire app? And do you think this will work with it, making a shortcut to open? Otherwise it doesnât work on tablets.
com.streamfire.app is the package name of my Version 1.0.0

I donât have that app, but you can download the app and get the package name from the app setting on your device.
Btw, my device is a Shield. So, I am not sure about tablets, but it doesnât hurt to try. You canât break anything.
Tbh, I have never had an app not be able to appear on my tablet and I got 82 active apps on my tablet. lol

Powerfader would U explain a few things to me if U have the time please! Is this the TVApp that can be used on my FStick, and if so, how do I download it to my downloader app on my FStick!( can I just type (TVApp) in my downloader? If the fire stick is considered a android streaming device shouldnât it work! Also, what is the com.streamfire.app link that u gave @scooterboy952 Thank you ! I appreciate it!
Just use your Silk browser and go to thetvapp.to and then book mark it. Easy peasy. BTW the SILK browser is optimized for FireOS so works great on those devices.

NB, listen to @Miki on this. It is much easier for you to bookmark http://thetvapp.to to your browser (Silk for FS users). You will be able to watch lots of tv/sports just by using the browser. Pretty easy to navigate.
I am curious about the set up @Powerfader posted but havent gotten around to trying it yet. He is one of those intellectuals here that know a lot more than me. Its a long list.
I believe that StreamFire app is for mobile devices. I am not familiar with it. I did see it list in the mobile Play Store, though.
Concerning TheTVApp. You need some sort of a browser to have your shortcut poit to. I us TVBro, but I woulod imagine the Downloader browser would work. Give it a go and see if it will work. TheTVApp is a live web stream. meaning you view it from a web site.
Personally, I am not a big fan of Downloader. Itâs a bit clunky for my taste, but I do use it every now and then.
Btw, not certain what is the go-to browser for FS. I would try Silk and see. I havenât messed with any Bezos stuff in years. lol
Easier if you create a shortcut for your homepage. lol
I always had the shortcut for my Silk browser on the landing page for my Firesticks. But pretty much gave up on the bookmarks once TiViMate was installed.

The TV App Repo will make a generic icon which you can use. Itâs just that itâs an ugly icon. lol

Hi Miki and @JPM69! Sorry for the late delay, but had a little issues with my connection in Upstate, NY! Silk browserâŚhmm this is a new one for me! I guess Iâll have to look that one up! Off hand do U know whether got it 'll need a specialized pointer to use the browser or will my remote due? SILK BROWSERâŚFANCY!

The silk browser is indeed already part of the Firestivk System and is optimized for FireOS devices as well as being in the Amazon App store. Do a search on the Firestick.
