Tor and brave i use. Tor has a great proxie circuit plus i can use vpn with.
Used Brave browser for last 3 years and love it. I don’t use Brave search engine, it seems to need improvement but Qwant works great.
I’ll tried a few different browsers. I like opera it’s customizable and has the decent interface. Firefox is a little bit cumbersome but has the ability to be treat that helps improve performance. It’s a bit of a resource hog of times.
Chrome has a little bit of everything and that everything is monitored and collected. But that’s with most everything anymore. Using it with all the various Google extras and add-ons with nice and it’s compatibility with various extensions is reasonable.
Brave I’ve been using for a while and liked it. Had to stop as it would stop responding and lock up my laptop completely. Couldn’t even end task without it taking forever. Going to look and see if I can find some tweaks to improve performance.
When I researched low resource browsers I was surprised to find that Microsoft Edge is the most recommended. I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s on my list. Until then I’m sticking with opera and checking out what else is out there.
Im beta testing Microsoft Edge
Version 114.0.1807.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit).
I to was never a fan of Edge but I love the split screen feature. Have 2 browser windows open in one screen.
Im testing Opera GX
LVL4 (core: 97.0.4719.84)
It is nice but heavy on resources.
