i can not find this app. I am using an onn pro. when i search the google play store, nothing comes up?

You might have to side load it if Google decides itā€™s not compatible on your device even though it is.

Make sure you type in ā€œtduk dnsā€.

It was the second option on my Onn pro. Without ā€œdnsā€ it wasnt on the screen.

is this a subscription app? the free trail is only 3 days. the a monthly fee. i can hear the scanner from the back of the police car for free on my way to jail. lol if i am not mistaken, looks like the app is just a form of broadcastify, com which has adds. will test and see

Iā€™ve never needed a subscription and been using a few years.:person_shrugging:

Open the app, connect it to your device, select dns server, click start using encrypted DNS server, test DNS if you have the Bro Browser installed to verify the encrypted DNS and then click on EXIT to close the app. Done.

What server is preferred or will ā€˜connect to DNSā€™ just pick one? Also I hit exit (at the bottom) and next time I opened the app it showed it wasnā€™t connected?

The app isnā€™t connected but your DNS still is. Sometimes I change DNS servers just to see if I notice any difference.

I covered the DNS server selection here:

Iā€™ve never had much of a buffering issue and will continue more testing and then leave a review however, coincidence or not now it seems the hiccup or occasional buffer has gone down even more. :grinning:

Hi Doc

If the VPN was connected to a different country than your home country and then the DNS Switcher connected. If the VPN drops out will the switcher stay connected to itā€™s original connection or refresh. Thanks Br Bernie

The enablement of encrypted DNS is completely independent of your VPN.

You can stop/start your VPN and it wonā€™t affect the encrypted DNS servers you are using.

Thank you

If your VPN is disconnected dose the DNS still protect you IP number from being exposed ?
