For any current User of the above APP and was a bit freaked out by the New Icon, note the following:

It seems the companion app, Cache Cleaner is maintaining its icon status quo, thus far,
I noticed that today as well but my icon is multicolored with an X in the middle of an Android robot chest. He is also offering a vpn discount when you open but it doesn’t say what brand.
